Set in the peaceful Normandy countryside, La Bourdonnerie is a quaint, fully restored, non-working farm - recently converted to self-catering gite & cottage holiday accommodation.

Our gites are situated 45 minutes South of Cherbourg at the edge of the pretty village of Vesly between the lively market town La Haye du Puits and the Abbey town Lessay.

Our family-friendly gite complex is centrally situated in the heart of the picturesque Cherbourg Peninsula within easy reach of the major tourist sites. The glorious Cotentin beaches of fine white sand - covering more than 300km of magnificant, protected coastline - are only a short drive away.

Our accommodation of four charming gite rental properties are nestling around a large, traditional Norman courtyard, set in 3 acres of well-maintained, landscaped grounds, set back from a quiet country lane, with peaceful open pastures and gently rolling green hills beyond.

All four country cottages & gites have recently been converted to the highest standard to offer quality accommodation with all the modern conveniences, combined with the old world charm of traditional Norman surroundings.
